The 3KM Infrared Free-Space Optical Communication System combines 8× binocular observation with invisible infrared optical communication in a compact portable platform. It supports video transmission over distances up to 3 km, full-duplex voice communication between two terminals and a 10 Mbps transmission rate, providing a non-RF communication solution for environments where conventional radio links may be limited or undesirable.
